several weeks ago, i asked lulu what she had in her backpack, cause it was visibly packed to capacity and ridiculously heavy for an 8 year old.
she said:
a social sudies book
a math book
three library books and they're overdue
two webkinz
that sparkly sweatshirt
some smencils and notebooks
and a slinky.

my kids say and do some really funny stuff sometimes. the kind of stuff where i say to myself i gotta write that down. or my mother says i gotta write that down. this space is where i try to write it down so it doesn't get lost on some little scrap of paper on my desk.
